Title: E 65 Error Code, Tried Everything Heeeeeelp!

I was flashing ixtreme1.2 with Iprep and a via 6421 card.

I was using Xtreme 5.3a for months now with no problems.

I followed textbook's tutorial step by step and everything seemed to have gone successfully using iFlash 1234567 12345(but my consoles serial) everything went smooth but after rebooting I receive the E 65 error.

I have the orig.bin file with my correct key inserted in the file.

Ive read a few other suggestions trying to reflash the original or the modified hacked.bin but with no luck so far, heres what happens to me.

With sata unplugged from the 360, I power up the pc and 360 at the same time.
After booting from the usb thumbdrive into dos, I plug the VIA cards sata cable to the 360's dvd rom drive.

I then use iFlash 1234567 12345

it gives me the following:

Drive Scanned:
1: XTREME Pri Master
choose one drive: 1
Port: 7000, Master/Slave: a0
Status = 00, should be 70
ERR:user break (this is from me hitting ESC after nothing happens.

From what I read I should be powering the 360 off at the choose one drive:, I then press 1 and the Port: 7000, Master/Slave: a0 appears.  I wait 10 seconds and then power back on the 360 but then nothing happens I have waited awhile and its just nothing. I then hit ESC and it gives me the Status = 00, should be 70.

I have also tried using mtkflash w /m /sata orig.bin, with my orig.bin placed in the root of the memory stick , but I get the same result. I have tried reading all the other forum posts I could find with people having the same problem and it seems they have been able to get the original firmware back onto the drive. Is there something im missing or can anybody give me something to try? Thanks for any help.

I am having the exact same problem, i have succesfully modded 3 ms25, i tried my first ms28.

and i backed up original firmware, but when i go to iFlash XXXXXXX XXXXX

and i power off my xbox and choose the controller... and i wait 2,4,6,10,15,20 seconds i tried it all, it doesnt continue to flash, and all i get is e65.

i cant do anything, i cant reflash or anything.

Please help, this is life or death

i don't want to sound like a broken record but i too am having the same problem. if anyone can point me in the right direction i will do anything in return. sorry for highjacking this thread, i have two threads already and no answers.
