Title: Need Instructions For A 79fk Drive

Hello can somebody help me out with instructions to flash my orginal 0079FK drive?
I have FWtoolbox 3.1 already and tried to load the original FW from this drive it is visible under windows XP but won't dump the firmware...
So who can help me out here ?

To dump/flash the firmware from a 79fk you need to desolder the chip, pop it in a programmer read the firmware then reflash it & resolder.

Just like the 78fk used to be

i would suggest waiting for a future version of toolbox... here is a clip from the 3.1b readme...

WHAT IS NEXT ON FUTURE TOOLBOX VERSIONS ?:

   - Direct dump/flash of 79 drives
   - Smart Hack Patcher configurable by script (avoid hard coded rules)
   - Restore and Patch Wizards (for totally noobs)
