Here is my question. I have several Samsung SD-616 DVD drives I purchased a couple of years ago. I bought them as replacments drives for my orignal xbox (there was some trick to make them work in the orignal xbox and I never got around to it). Anyway, I am looking for a way to make backup's of the games that I own and I saw a method of flashing Samsung drives with the Kreon firmware. The Samsung SD-616 is not specifically listed as a drive that is supported, but I was wondering if it might work or if it is even worth trying. To be honest I really do not care about bricking one of these drives. They have sat at the bottom of my desk for close to 4 years now. If I can make them work with the Kreon firmware then that would be great and I can finally get a use out of them.
