Getting this error:
Kernel panic - not syncing: IO-APIC + timer doesn't work! Boot with apic=debug and send a report. Then try booting with the 'noapic' option
when trying to boot with slax. I cant seem to get a boot option on the via sata controller card (using boot option add in controller card giving a failed disk error so need to get into bios of said controller card, no press tab options) I have with nforce 570 mobo, dont know why so trying to use the onboard sata and it isnt working. Anyone got any solutions to either the error message or a way to get the via controller bios going? thanks.
