Hi there. I've been running my 360 for quite some time now with the Xtreme 3.3 Firmware. I decided tonight that I would upgrade it to the 5.2 but I've got a question about the different options available. I know that ofcourse with the ALWAYS fast option the drive is going to be super loud... which I don't really mind cause I play my games with loud audio. The question is that if I use the SLOW option will this somehow "prolong" the life of my DVD Drive or will it only make it quieter and to either of the settings have an effect on load times?
