Title: Need Help Hitachi

I have my drive connected with the xecuter usb kit drive number 46 DH, but whenever I try to flash it I get a pop up saying The System FIle is not suitible for running MS-DOS what does this mean? Am I using the wrong Drive letter? How do I asighn the drive a letter because I don't think im using the rght letter? Thanks

No problem, just moved to get ya better help.

I just used the Xecuter kit the other day to patch my key into my other Hitach drive, so I'm still messing with the ins and outs of it as well, but I didn't have any issues with the process, so I'm not up on all the problems/solutions.

I followed this tutorial for the most part for getting the drive connected and in Windows, I use XP Pro with SP2 and it assigned a drive letter just fine.

I figured it out! It was because my computer auto deleted a MS-DOS file, making it so commands would not work. Not a big deal, you can lock this topic.
