Title: Playing Roms From Cdrw
Post by: DGdaPilot on April 06, 2005, 12:08:00 PM
Here's my situation:

I burned all of my Genesis roms to a CD (just drag and dropped using WinXP). I popped it in the Xbox and everything worked perfectly. I have attempted to do the same with Mameox, fceUltra, blissx, and XSnes9x, but to no avail.

Do all of these emu's support playing from a CD?

I've tried making an ISO with Craxtion of my super nintendo roms (to run in XSnes9x) but it didn't seem to work. I even looked at XSnes9x's .ini file to make sure it would look at the DVD drive (I set it to D:\). Still no workey.

On a side note, every time I make an ISO with Craxtion, it says that there is no .xbe file found in the folder. Is this a problem?

Thanks for any info.

P.S. I've be researching these forums about this for the past couple of days but haven't found anything that seemed to help. <

you need to create your ISOs in the proper X-Box format (search for something like XISO) also your dvd drive must support the cds you are burning

Well I know the CD's work because Xenesis was reading the roms from one of them.

Is there a difference between Craxtion and other ISO programs? <
