Title: From Hitachi To Sammy - Update Ok?

My 360 was a premium pack and came with a Hitachi Drive.

The drive died and I bought a Sammy to replace it.

Has anyone successfully run the Fall update with a different DVD drive than the one that was shipped with their 360?

My 360 with a sammy M25 as died but when i bought another one it as a modded hitachi 78 in it. So i was thinking of my be putting the sammy from the broke 360 into the new one but i dont know how to do it.Is there a guide for dummys
