I am trying to flash my first Samsung drive and I'm running into a lot of problems getting mtkflash to find the drive. Here is a list of things that I have done so far:
1. Enable Sata
2. I don't have the sata raid/ide option available
3. Disable and unplug all IDE Devices
4. Tried every version of mtkflash.exe I could find
5. Tried differnt timings of power on 360 and read the firmware and hotplug
I always get "Drive not Found" from mtkflash.exe
I have not tried to hex edit mtkflash.exe. I am running windows 2000 and msinfo32.exe does not display the required info.
I have the vt3287 southbridge with the via 6420 sata controller. Has anyone else successfully used this configuration? If so can you please let me know what version of mtkflash you are using?
