Post by: Christophercolumbus on June 06, 2006, 04:09:00 AM
This may be a stupid question, but do i have to flash my dvd key in this file as i did with xtreme.bin?
If this is a yes, then i have finally think i have found the problem with making my coasters.

Sorry to takes your hopes away but the answer is NO.I wondered that same question, but i went ahead and flashed xtrm0800.bin as is and my first burn was perfect.
You might be missing 1 step as its not listed in a few of the tuts floating around.
After you send the 4 12 byte lines of code via dvdinfo pro and save your ss.bin, you need to open/close the 360 dvd tray and run dvdinfo pro again and send FF 08 01 01 and just close dvdinfo pro. Then extract the image via isobuster, then isobuilder and your ready to burn via clonecd.

I just backuped my firmware, and i went to send the 0800 file to the drive, and it froze? i did everything the tutorial said to do, the PDF tutorial version 6. Has this happened to anyone, or is there a solution? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pop.gif) thanks
