HellDoc released a new version of Xbox360 SS Merger(info) - a GUI tool that allows you to easily insert the Security Sectors (SS) on raw dumps made both the 'wxRipper(info)'-way (hot-swap with opened PC DVD drive and wxRipper software) and the 'xtreme'-way (with original Xbox 360 DVD drive on PC and special bios).
What's new/fixed:
* ISO type autodetection has been really improved.
* ISO type detection is now automatic when you select an ISO.
* ISO type detection will tell you how the detection has been made (blanked video partion found, original video partion found, etc...)
* MD5 of current ISOs SS is displayed + MD5 of SS file.
* SS file is now validated to minimize user error.
* I made some change to the GUI but nothing major.
* Added merge in the file menu.
* Note1: Instruction are still the same.

But i got a little suggestion
It would be good if you make a MD5 library in your app which links the MD5 hash to what game (and region it is).
so e.g
ISO RAW DUMPXXXXXXXXXXX= Perfect Dark Zero Pal UK
SSXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX= Perfect Dark Zero PAl UK
They match . and therefore you can merge the SS.
Maybe you should also in-clude little pics of the game in the library

i loaded an iso.... and it was blank the md5.....
so there is no way of detecting which ss would go with it

I dont think so no. I may be wrong but i think the reason is because a normal PC dvd rom can not read the SS from a gamedisc, It has to be read from the 360's drive

)Heres 1.5o bugfix/new stuff :
- Online iso validation + setting detection
- Online SS validation
- Nice interface.
Beta testers should have access to unpatched iso and should be able to patch them succesfully ( to add the settings, iso and ss informations to the database )
