Title: Should The Drive Show Up In Cmos

Can any one confirm whether the drive shold show up in cmos  with nothing else connected?? my hitachi shows up now and agian in cmos and i dont know whether its to do with me ejecting the drive or some other problem. im using on board sata SIS964 Does this Even work with this drive ???
 
 Any help/info much app
