Yeah, thats what I m trying to figure out, taking the Hitachi code and flashing it to the Samsung drive. I wasnt sure if it was possible. If not, i ll just have to wait for the Hitachi firmware to come out. smile.gif

Use KDX 1.2 to lay the Hitachi drive key into the Samsung bin. If you got the correct key that is your only problem. I don't see how pasting is going to work you need a program to place it for you. Iv'e tested it on 3 Samsung drives already and works fine. Also there is a new version of the xtreme.bin you ppf patch then key patch.

BEWARE
The attampt I made to paste the key at $4000 resulted in an image so corrupt I had to pull the sst and reprogram it in a programmer and then socket the install back into the samsung.

You've obviously never attempted this but feel free to chime in. Next time you need a hole in your 360 don't let your pet chew through it.

There is 2 versions of 1.1 (stupid beaners). I used the one with the ppf patch. Or I suggest 1.2 since it's the latest.
