Title: Need A Dummy Video Connector
Post by: geebee on May 18, 2006, 09:44:00 AM
To flash the xbox you need your video cable plugged in...and its a pain to disconnect it from the back of my plasma.

What i need is a video connector dongle that fools the xbox into thinking it is connected...

anyone up to the job?

I have a VGA cable to hook my 360 to my monitor. I bought it before all this, so i just use that one and leave my other one in my entertainment center. I only paid $20 bucks for it, so it is even worth it more now that I can use it will powering on my drive to flash it. Probably not exactly what you are looking for, but $20 isn't too much.

EDIT: I'll throw this out there in case anybody doesn't already know. You do have to have the video cable connected to the 360 in the back. You DON NOT need to have the cables plugged into a TV though.
