Title: Pictures Of The 360 Dvd-drive Innards Please

I've been searching around and even asked the guys at llamma for pictures of the dvd drives innards with the cover removed but so far I havent found anything and no responses.

All the articles about opening the 360 (including anandtech) dont open the dvd drive at all.

So if anybody has some piccies please post!

This isn't really a request forum.....if you want pictures.....take them yourself.....I'm sure the guys over at xboxhacker.net know all about the internals...considering they are already into the drives firmware....maybe they have more info for you.

The nice folk at xboxhacker are mostly analysing the software side of things and I dont want to bother them. But thanks anyway.

Wow. This is the hacking forum for "Technical DVD-ROM / DVD-Media" in relation to the Xbox 360. If people don't work together how will anything be accomplished?

Joergen, I haven't cracked my case or I would GLADLY post some pics for you. Check out llama's site, since they "modded" the drive to resolve the disc scratch issue. I remember seeing some pics. If you email them they might send you some more... Good luck  wink.gif
