Just burn it in nero (burner -> burn image) but remember to choose "close session" or it wont work.
And download the app "DVD Speed" and run a read test of the disc on your burner (press F2) and if it reads to the end without giving errors (especially if the curves are smooth) then at least the burn is good and youre not using crappy media.
-
When you mean close session do you mean Finalize DVD (no further writing possible) ?
-
no, you wont ever be able to run backups from it
-
this is the kiosk disc we are talking about dude
-
Yes "Finalize DVD" sry
You always have to have that for booting games, at least for xbox1 and ps2.
-
Thanks it worked / it reconsigsed it BUT it didnt play it said something about it being for a diffrent regioned game im trying to run it on a PAL core system there a way to get it workin?

Hmm, I think I burned it WITHOUT finalizing the DVD, and it just works fine (although I used Nero Express... )
EDIT: I think "works" is more clear than "owkrs"

Yeah, burn it 1-4x, not faster
-
Might be a good idea to actually test your discs after burning to see if they even work. Use Nero CD-DVD Speed (separate program) and Transfer Speed test or press F2. If your burner cant read the whole disc then the 360 sure wont either.
-
still no show didnt work says this:
This disc is unreadable. It may be the wrong region for this console.
1. Match the region of the disc to the console
2. Clean the disc with a soft cloth
3. Restart the console
ive tried 2. and 3 still nothing

i am too having troubles getting it to work i have extract up to the point where i get a ISO labled as pi-odd.iso. Do i extact the files in it or do i just burn the iso now. I have burn't the iso with neuro and does not work. the 360 reads mix media disc. If i extract it further to the files , what do i do next. Do i just click burn image with neuro and drag all files in box and burn it to a dvd-r? do i need anyother file?
please help.

You could possibly try burning the disc with some software that isn't shit.
That always helps.

your problem is that you are putting the file on a dvd you need to burn the file as an image to the dvd in nero go to burn image and then select pi-odd.iso and then burn with finalise dvd selected

Me too, my files arnt in iso format, its says pi-odd.001-pi-odd.086, its not iso format?
DO I USE Qwix to turn it into a iso?????
PLAESE HELP (IMG:style_emoticons/default/uhh.gif)

Download WinRAR and then click on any of the pi-odd.xxx files. Once you do this WinRAR will extract the .iso file from the 86 files. Get it?
-
Hi m8, ok what you need to do is go to google and search WinRAR, download that program and install it.
Go back to where your files are
right click
choose open
choose from list
choose Winrar and just drag the file with the iso extension out onto your desktop or folder or whatever.
Then you can burn the ISO onto a DVD.
hope this helps

I used the program sonic record now and tried it on dvd+rw first to see that it was the complete file and fully functional as i had another iso that was stripped down no movies or demos then copied it to dvd+r. There are some major fakes and incomplete files out that corrupt your hdd so pull that off and disconnect from the online service before all testing.

Ummm, I received the files, but I don't know how to burn them correctly, I didn't come in an ISO, just 90 different files incling an NFO. Is this bad? Can I still just drop them into NERO?

HOLY SH*T! lol, nvm. I think I did it right....
Opened "pi-odd.001" and dragged the contents out of it and it extracted it all to 1 ISO
. Would have never figured it out unless I had some knoledge of WinRAR
.

Anyone able to stripped out the videos and demos file and put your own WMVHD clips from M$ site? I did this and burn w/ Nero 7 UDF but xbox cannot read that disc.

I extracted the "Accesories.wmv", edited it in Windows Movie Maker, added a simple effect, saved it, replaced it on the disc, ripped it and it works! To access the Accesories video press "Y".
-
When you burned it back to the disc do you use Nero to burn it? Version? Can you post UDF settings? I tried burning a few times yesterday and no luck. I was trying to put one of the WMVHD videos on the disc. What I did was rI downloaded Dolphins clip from wmvhd.com and rename the file to pgr3.wmv. put it in the videos folder and replaced the actual pgr3 file. I left the rest of the files intact. After burning with Nero xbox won't read it. Something about wrong region code and cleaning the disc etc...

I'm using http://www.magiciso.com/ with a hefty little cr*ck, for ripping.
WinRAR for extracting.

So you burned it disc with MagicISO? If so can you tell me step by step how you did it? Did you also extract .ISO with Winrar?

Yes, Once you have the ISO extracted from the 001,002,003... files extract all the file(or just the files you want to edit) then edit them. MAKE A BACKUP OF THE DISC IMAGE BEFOR MESSING AROUND WITH IT! Open the ISO in MagicISO. Then add/apdate the files by navigating through the bottum window, dragging and droping or using the add files/driectory buttons.
Once you've figured that out, just click the "Burn the current CD/DVD image without saving..." button. I don't save the image when I'm done, but some people will.
Let me know if that works.
