ms will let u download the dash updates to pc with that is the code that tells ur 360 to run and that its a real ms product if a good hacker wit good code skill will give it a hard look a one set mod will work help us all post this any where u can get this out the quicker the better and u stuck up ppl this is me puting my words out and its freedom of speech so go on some where a lot of ppl want this and a lot of ppl love the 360 but h8t the strings ms puts on them so ppl lets get the word out

Yes you can download the updates to your PC but this is not going to help becuase if you even change a single bit in the file you break the signature that allows the code to run on the 360.
This is has been the case from day 1 and remains in place today.
Unless you somehow can get the private key and resign the modified updates you wont be able to do anything. Even then if you did have the private key you could just sign the homebrew to run without any modifications anyway.
Finally, with the minds behind the JTAG hack out there, dont you think if this was even remotely possible it would have been done by now??

If it was possible it would of already been done, like the user above stated if you change the files in the update from MS, then it breaks the encryption. Its just not this easy. Sorry to burst your bubble. Also two other things, what hell are you talking about freedom of speech for? That is more of a political thing, 2nd please learn how to use periods and make sentences please.
