Title: N64 Help!

Some of my n64 games end with .rom but others end in .v64, is there going to be a problem when i try to play them. i know .v64 games play with any system but some of the previous .rom games i had didnt work, is there something i need to do or can i just play them .rom??

if the image is ok, it doesn't make a differance if its a .rom or .v64, if you want good compatiblity make sure you use surreal64 and next time post in the right forum. emulator help requests go in the *gasp* emulator forum.  <
