Title: Banned For Playing A Backup Made With The Nme Associator
Post by: tstormhelldog on December 31, 2008, 12:59:00 PM
Hey everyone,

I just ordered my NME 2.0 chip a few weeks ago, and now I'm playing the waiting game.  Can't wait!

I burned my first backup a few days ago with XBC 2.8, but the image I used keeps failing Schtrom 3.4's stealth check because the NME associator removed the splitVideo layers.

Has anyone here gotten banned using a backup without the splitVideo layers?  Should I even attempt to use my backups on live? Is a softmod the only way to play backups on live?

nme2's site says NOT to play it on live... so you shouldnt be playing it on live... if u do, expect a ban

flash your drive dont chip it, i had the nme 1.2 chip and used nme every time

soon as we had the april 08 update they were useless straight ban so flash your dvd drive forget nme not worth the hassle these days

sorry to be harsh but its a pain soldering when you can flash and play

soldering wasnt bad at all... i havent been on live with a backed up game since i installed mine (their site says not to and u can prolly expect a ban)... but everything works... i like knowing that i can play any backed up game i want offline and not have to worry about live bans when i get back on live...
