Title: Blaster 360 Ne A Couple Of Questions

hi i just had a couple of questions about the blaster 360 ne. My friend just bought it and were going to install it but first i was woundering do we need to put a mod chip into the xbox first before we do this?? i have never modded a xbxo before so im a noob at it any help would be appreciated
