Title: Infectus Usb Programmer?

What is the benefit of the Infectus USB Programmer? Is this just a modchip to play backups or does it just allow you to flash the firmware of the dvd drive? Probably a pretty noob question but I cant get the "search this forum" function to work. Thanks guys.

You're mixing some things up. the infectus USB programmer is only a plug for the infectus to flash it over USB. the infectus itself is a modchip that can be used as a drive chip, to flash the drive, or to read and write the console nand chip.

Please dont buy the infectus2  now !
Some people reporting BUG in latest programmer with idgtool!
