Could anyone confirm for me that the NME ground point is only a ground for the chip so that any ground to chassis could be used?
Or does the ground point actually effect which is booted? DVD drive firmware or NME "firmware"?
Basically is the ground point for the NME like the Xbox1 D0 point where a certain trace/point needs to grounded so that the chip "firmware" will boot?
I've seen multiple threads where people are saying any chassis ground will work, wouldn't it have been easier for Team Underdog to just point to a chassis ground instead of a specific point since this point is moved on the 79fl?
Could this be why it seems people are having problems with the NME v2 and 79fl drive, including myself?
