Title: Nme V2.0 And Benq Drive, Please Make Sure I Got This Right!
Post by: Binaryninja on January 03, 2008, 09:30:00 AM
Hi,

I've previously modded Ps2 and Xbox consoles, so now I'm moving on to 360 consoles.

I have a BenQ drive it seems and as per the installation guide at Team underdog I have wired the chip up. 5 Wires (Excluding optionals).

Now there is wire points on the DVD drive mainboard and on the front panel board. I have the chip stuck onto the DVD drive board, and for the front panel solder point, do I just send a peice of wire going out of the dvd drive to that front point?

Finally, after everything is wired up, is there anything else I need to do? Or will the 360 just be ready to play the backups given they are burned correctly?

First 360, don't wanna screw it up, so just making sure it's a straight forward install here, no extra firmware flashing needed for the chip etc...

How does point Y work? Do you just connect point Y from the chip to both points?
