Title: Corpse Killer Sega Cd/32x

I firuged since X-port has made a complete genesis emulator, I figured this should be able to play Sega CD/32X titles. My Corpse Killer Sega CD/32X game will not play, it says the 32X needs to be connected? Xport, why is this happening? Also, no I don't want to grab the regular Sega CD version of the game.  <

It is because the Gens core from which NeoGenesis and Xenesis are ported doesn't currently support the Sega CD and 32X combination.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the only pc emu that does is AGES, and there is no source available for a port of that.

Well, don't worry about the standard Corpse Killer Sega CD game either, as Gens doesn't run it. As for 32x CD games, there's only a small handful of them, and they're all available for Sega CD, so the only thing you're missing from the lack of support is a few extra colours in the palette and slightly crisper sound.


The only thing I wish for, is that someone can get Virtua Racing running on an emu one day. VRDX just isn't the same.

It's unlikely that it will make it into an xbox port until it is supported in the windows version of Gens and source is made available to work with.

I'm pretty sure it's a built in security feature..you know..to keep you from playing terrible games. :jester:   <

won't argue with you there. Just wanted it to work, that's all. I guess no CD/32x combined titles will be working anytime soon. Oh well. ;)
