Title: Just Looking For Some Opinions On Modchips
Post by: jtstamps on October 15, 2007, 04:41:00 PM
I have recently had a mod job go bad with the NME360 1.2.  I have a DVD drive that will not open/close or read a disc.  I have been talking with RDC on the forum about some possible fixes, but I am considering scrapping it and getting a new console.

I could probably fix the one I have, but I think that I will sell it on ebay AS IS and get a new console with the HDMI port and start all over.  The HDMI seems very appealing to me.

If I do that, what should I be shopping for?
Any recommendations on modchips?

I have read that some of the newer consoles are giving the modchips a little trouble.
Would it be better or easier to do a flash job or a modchip?

Why?

Thanks for your input - I look forward to some great feedback, I always get the best on this forum.

Really?.... No help here?

I've been looking around some more and noticed that Team Underdog has pulled their site down and is promising some sort of miracle release.  Any idea what this is about??

Do you know which units cannot be modded?  Is it only the ones with the HDMI port?

Can you put an older drive in the newer console and put a chip in it then?
