Title: What Is The Best Value To Calibrate On The Hitachi?
Post by: razer911 on October 11, 2007, 11:17:00 AM
I need to calibrate my hitachi drive and im little bit confuse because in thr site of the nme chip
they write to calibrate between 2.5-2.7Ohm
but in the guide of ICEMAN he say's not toget low of 2.8Ohm and the best vale that he finds for hom is 3.4 (or something like this).

so what is the value that i need to measure for my hitachi 78 with nme 1.2?

*the originals works great but to play backups i need to insert and eject many times the disc to make his works.

please help me guys , im really want start to play Halo 3  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I start at 3.0, but through testing found the best to be about 2.8.  Right now in my Hitachi 78, calibrated to 2.8, it loads backups and originals at nearly the same speed.
