I just installed my xeno-360 modchip on my 47dj drive. I'm sure everything is wired correctly. When I press the eject button, the led on the modchip turns on right away. I hold it for 5 seconds and it just stays on. I put in a backup and I get the "Put the disc into a xbox 360" message. When I turn on the xbox via the power button, the led on the modchip stays off, but when I put a backup in, it still recognizes it but gives me the error message again. Then I press eject, and the led on the modchip turns on. I find this very weird. Like I said I'm very sure that all the connections are good. My original games still work. I know you are supposed to turn on the chip by holding down the eject button for 5 seconds and mine turns on as soon as I press eject, whether from standby, or if the xbox is already on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've checked the continuity between the connections many times and all seem ok. Maybe it's a bad chip? Has anyone else had problems like this with the xeno 360 chip?

Try maybe an alternate ground point. Solder the GND wire from the chip to the right side of where the dvd power cable plugs in on the dvd board. I have posted this in other topics so if you want a picture of it just look a few topics down.

Ok, I'll try the new ground point and let you know how it goes. Thanks for the tip.
