Title: Question About Region Locking.
Post by: doujinshi on May 11, 2007, 06:55:00 AM
I looked at a few overviews of popular Xbox 360 modchips' specs, but none of them mentioned being able to play NTSC-J format import games.

While it may be implied through another feature, I wasn't totally sure.  Are any of the current 360 modchips able to remove the region lock on the console?

Thanks.

No, not at the moment.

The region of the console is set in the kernel/NAND, so it will never be possible with this current firmware hack (patch on the fly or actual flashed fw).
