Title: What Is This Little Black Thing? Error 75

I accidentally pulled this off the board now error 75.

Does anyone know what those little black things are called ?  resistor?

And what type they are?   I have a bunch of old xbox (non 360 mother boards) can i take one off the board? and reuse it?

yeah its a resistor. did you lose it?

I dunno what the measurement is, you'd have to test it (or someone will) and then you'll have to test a number of ones from an old board that has a very close reading to what the value is supposed to be. then replace it.

If you still have it, you should be able to just solder it back on.

Lost it   (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)   Can someone tell me the measurement.  Its right next to the ethernet port on the 360 board.

lol im missing it on my mobo too my motherboard is messed up though with other problems. lol i was going to get it and see if you wanted it.

how did you actually pull it off ??

the dvd boards with soldered points are hard enough to remove with accidentally pulling them off


just interested really "mines solid so its staying shut for a few months whilst i enjoy my games"
