Title: Swap Nme 1.2 Chip From Hitachi To Ms25 ?
Post by: Awoken 1 on March 08, 2007, 10:17:00 PM
Well the titel pretty much says it all.
I have a nme 1.2 in a hitachi drive which is busted.
Can i take the chip out and put it in a samsung drive or will that cause problems ?

I`m pretty sure the hitachi being busted is related to shorting solder points.

thanks

you cant just drop in a a new drive. you need to get the keys from the original, and then you need to put in the same type of drive, and flash it with the keys.

I know that. I`m not talking about replacing the drive ,I`m talking about taking out the chip and putting it in another xbox which has an samsung drive.
