Title: Nme Versus Fw
Post by: Textbook on November 10, 2006, 08:48:00 AM
Flashing your firmware to report the correct firmware takes 5 minutes, so I could say "intelligence" is a good product too.

And it isn't an overpriced $50.  Tutorials and the Search function are free.

I'll never recommend the DVD drive modchips.  They took what the hackers provided for free, and tried to make a buck on it.  How about being original teams?  Make a REAL modchip.

From what i hear on the forums it seems no one has had a problem with NME V1.1 and the fall update.  Maybe it's time to admit that it's not a bad product after all. ohmy.gif

I have one and no problems with any game or xbl or updates so far.   I understand many are against this chip.  the price of the chip is not an issue for me since if it works it will pay for itself.     is it the best solution maybe not but if the day comes when this chip fails i may flash my drive.   biggrin.gif
