i know sounds all to strange that they the have the console ready with the fractal ready for sale when the fractal isn't even out yet.But the site is one of the sites listed on the official site(fractal web page) as a distrubuter.Well they claim it plays imports havn't gotten hold of them yet but they usually respond when i do contact them.BUt my question is in THEORY is that even possible.... i mean the chip reads actual ss of a game,which means no patching the ss to suite ur firmware.

Bullshit.  Maybe it is claiming to play region-free imports...which can be played by a non-modded console.  The region code is within the digitally signed .xex file.  The console itself verifies the signature and the region code (and compares to the MB region code) after being read from the disc.  The DVD drive doesn't do this, so it wouldn't be possible to have any firmware/modchip do so

ive just seen that they say "You Will Be Able To Play Multiregional Games, Imports, And Backups but when you look downthe page there Temporarily Out Of Stock  huh.gif

sorry i know its nothing to do with this but there selling the ps3 when it comes out for £549.00  is this how much its gona be or are they making there own price up

I was speaking to a guy who said he had managed to patch imports to work to any region has to be a backup disk tho.
