NME has 2 differnt models one for Samsung and one for Hitachi (46 and 47 only)
Pioneer 111D will not properly burn the disc (fw 1.19 or 1.25, I tried as well as a few other people, all same issue)
you can rip with Wxripper and get it to work but if the ISO is not 7.05GB it will never boot, final after conversion is 7.17GB

Hi letsmod,
Gave this a shot and no-go. Still end up with a "insert this disc in an xbo360" error message.
ISO from my original was 7.05gb but the final conversion after running it through the nme covert script was what the nme webpage indicated should be my final .iso size: 7.705.657.344 bytes
FYI. I have the hitachi drive using imgburn forcing booktype to DVD+R DL - I've tried booktype DVD-ROM and they are not as readable on my system.
Frustrating..

I've faild twice.
i took a game , used the tool from NME to build it, and i got filesize of ~7.14G instead of 7.17G supposed to be.
i don't get it.

I have a HP DVD+DL writer, can I use this dvd burner for burning backups?
(Maybe somebody who has builded a succesful backup, can create a tutorial?)

I have a xbox360 with the nme-chip.
I use the nme-associator to convert the iso's to work with the nme-chip.
I have an old NEC 3500AG burner with standard firmware.
I use Verbatim DVD+R DL disc and burn with IMGBurn at 2.4x
Booktype is set at DVD+R DL.
NO PROBLEMS HERE.
I think if you have the right iso size (7.705.657.344 bytes) and your booktype is set to DVD+R DL and you use Verbatims, there's not much that can go wrong.
