PCE is Pc Engine, or the Japanese version of the Turbo Grafx 16 game console. It was a great little system that was around during the beggining of the SNES period. It has some incredible games such as the much sought after Dracula X which some argue is the best Castlevania game of the older systems. It was the first home console system (I believe) to have a CDROM addon which gave it true CD audio music and in game voice as well as stereo output and the original CDROM unit was dockable so you could remove it and use it as a disc man, although the AC adapter that it ran on weighed as much as the full system. :) |
