I followed the guide at http://www.free60.org/Debian-squeeze and successfully installed debian-squeeze onto my JTAG'd Xbox 360 hard drive. Now the part I'm stuck at is booting it.
The guide says to use http://homebrew.allo...0.10-powerpc.gz to boot Debian. When I extract it there is only a xenon.elf file. What do I do with this? I tried burning it to a CD and booting with Xell and putting it on a USB and booting but Xell couldn't find any files to boot from.
I did some research and it would seem I need to update my firmware since I'm using dash 2.0.8955.0 and then I would need to use Dash Launcher with XellLauncher to boot the xenon.elf file into linux. Does this sound right?
I haven't done much with Xbox hacking / home brew for awhile now so I'm a bit out dated on whats new in the scene.
