I bought the CK3 light from that exact website (UK also here) and i've managed to flash every single drive to date with no problems at all and i've done over 60 xbox 360 drives so far.I also made my own probe for the lite-on 7 and 9 series drives, all i did was splice into 1 of the wires that is included in the package,so i didn't need to spend more money on the more expensive ck3 models or a seperate probe. The ck3 lite is a really good bit of kit and the cheapest

Thanks for the reply

I think i need to get one as i should imagine id be getting plenty more liteon's in the future.
http://www.se7ensins...nnectivity-kit/
So i might actually have a bash at making one of these before i pay £40 for a proper kit, I know the one i make wont be no where near as good/safe as the CK3 kit, but least i can have a play around before i spend all that money.
Iv still been reading the CK3 website and i think im having a serious brain fart today as i cant figure out all the differant bits and bobs. For instance the CK3 lite and probe kit say it works for all models of drives. Where as the LT switch says i NEED one to be able to get liteon keys. Also the CK3 kit it says its the first No Solder kit (Can now buy the glue) but im getting mixed results from all the differant guides on the net. Some say you have to cut the board and some dont even mention it.
So do i need the LT Switch to be able to flash a Liteon, and Do i have to cut the board to be able to dump the key. Or have i got confused with all the tuts and read something wrong?
Why the hell cant they be nice and simple like the good old fashioned Hitachi and Samsung's lol
thanks

you need the LT switch to flash the Lite-on 9 series drives (mostly found in the black elite consoles),if your good at soldering then get the LT switch as i fitted one and there piss easy but the LT clip which doesn't need soldering,i just couldn't get it to stay stuck to the drives board with it's sticky back plastic coating.
It's upto you though mate, depends how much money you want to spend but as i said, the ck3 lite that i have does the job perfect and CK3's website is very very fast at posting your order out to you, order it before midday and 9 times outa 10 it's through your door the very next day, there awsome

Ck3 lite (£14.95) + probe 3 (£9.95) is all you need to flash all drives (liteon, hitachi, samsung, benq)
With probe 3 you can extract any (7,8,9 series) liteon key without soldering/cutting traces.

Wouldn't buying the new X360USB PRO be easier? It's supposed to do all fat drives and some new slim drives. Will the LT switch still be needed with the X360??? I'm not too sure on that.
