Title: Failed To Open Device, Xport 360
Post by: Ketchup_Bomb on January 12, 2011, 04:52:00 PM
Welcome.

Just to be clear, you're referring to Datel's Xport360, yes? Or are you referring to the XSATA device?

Can Xport360 or Xplorer360 even recognize the device? Do you have current versions of Xport360 and Xplorer360? Do you have any way of trying to do this on a 32-bit or XP machine? Do you have a native SATA port on your motherboard that you could hook the HDD up to and try?

Can your device connect the HDD to your computer via USB? If so, you could try using XTAF to read the device.

Does the Xbox recognize the HDD when it's connected to the system?

Try opening the drive using Party Buffalo Drive Explorer

That works awesome on my Datel XSATA.
