Title: Gamer Picture And Banned Kv

So here's what I'm doing (on a banned jtag):

1 - using gamer picture injector, I create a CON file after picking my pictures
2 - I create a folder via FTP on my xbox called "Content/0000000000000000/FFFE07D1/00020000"
3 - I upload the CON file via FTP to "Content/0000000000000000/FFFE07D1/00020000"
4 - I reset the console
5 - when I go to edit my profile, i see all my new pictures
6 - I cannot choose them (i select them and it does not change my original gamer picture). I can ONLY choose the original gamer pictures included with the console.
7 - I tried some rehasher and resigner...but still the same problem

what am I doing wrong? could this be due to my xbox being banned? is there any way around this?

I tried using Modio and transfering thru a USB stick (instead of FTP)...still no luck.

Okay...i've gotten somewhere!

I realized that i MUST be logged into Live to choose my new gamer picture. Problem is, my system is banned. Is there a way to trick my xbox into thinking it's on Live so I can select my gamer pictures?

Dunno if it'll work for you, but you could use the camera to take a picture then just replace it with something like le fluffie

That might work...but I'd like to figure it out this way. I wanna get down to the bottom of this

So...is there a way I can trick my xbox into thinking it's signed into LIVE so I can select my gamer pictures?
