Title: 360 Jtag, Dash: 6717 6683

Okay ive bought three xbox 360s all with a blade style dash. One if dash 6717 and one is 668s and one is just a blades xenon that's all i know so could someone guide me to Jtaging an xbox? i have all components as im studying electronic engineering and bukld computers so i know my way around stuff. Oh and i;ve fixed RLOD before (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I myself just got a xbox 360 with a dash 6683. I am going to jtag but which jtag would you recommend the lpt or the usb?

For me LPT took like 3 hours to read, and same for writing. USB takes like 3 minutes. As well, I had alot more success getting the usb to recognise once I had the right nandpro version.

It really depends on how patient you are.

Making your own LPT cable is a bit easier than programming a PIC for the USB method.

Since you only have to read/write via this method during the install, i'd go the LPT route as long as you have a compatible port on your pc

I would use Nand X if I were you, much easier than LPT cable and works with every machine.  You can get one here.
