Do you have your original NAND dump? The problem may be related to bad blocks that aren't reallocated on your FreeBoot/XBR'd NAND. Run the original nand dump through Degraded and see what BB's you may have.

Hmm, I'm having this exact same problem...  And I know that I have no bad blocks...

Any other theories?
