Title: Anyway To Downgrade Dashboard?

Hey guys I want to do the jtag but my dash version is 8955 and want to get it down to 7371 if possible to allow me to jtag the console, so there anyway to downgrade that you know of and do you think the jtag will be compatible with dash versions of 8955 in the future?

I have downgraded from 8955 and installed xbreboot. I have done it 3 times now on banned systems.

Here is how

Step 1) Find a xbox 360 motherboard that is really broken unfixable RROD (broken pads under GPU etc) that is also exploitable. (you will need to dump nand to find out and keep a copy of the nand dump to be used later)

Step 2) Find a banned 8955 motherboard of same version as in step 1. (it doesn't have to be banned but might as well be)

Step 3) Remove CPU from both motherboards and reball and install CPU from board in step 1 into board in Step 2

Step 4) Create your xbreboot file from nand dump in step 1 and flash nand.

Tada! You have downgraded. (well not really, you have changed both things that lock the system from downgrading the CPU+NAND)

I have several spare Xenon CPU's with matching NAND data ready to go. I also have a few Thousand in rework equipment here to make this happen. So for the average guy downgrading is impossible.

Point is that for MOST this is not and will never be an option.

They have to option to ship it to me. I have at least 6 more Xenon CPU's matched to exploitable nands.

Ya, your right. I did say near the end of my post that it wasn't really downgrading because i changed major components.

I just had to make it clear for others reading this as there are some people people who see what they want to on a web forum then some to a totally different concluding than your post actually intended to give.

If you are able to make exploitable systems from banned boards and fucked boards good for you.
I dont have access the required equipment to be able to do that :-(

I could use a few extra (insert currency here)'s right now.
