Yellow LED where? On the PSU? It should be either red, orange, or green. You want it to be orange, because you don't turn the console on when reading.

Also, whats the TIA? This is Africa?

Now, Degraded and Flash Tool both crash when I try to open my dumps. Still digging for a solution here.

Make sure you are using Win XP when doing this stuff. I know technically a lot of it will work with Win 7, but Xp is just a lot more stable.

Run a ground cable from the metal chassis of the DB-25 socket to the metal chassis of the 360 - that'll eliminate the differences in dumps. It's a floating ground issue....

Repo1.bin opens fine for me in both... I'm using Windows 7 64-bit. Do you have .NET framework installed?

Awesome. .NET Framework was installed but I ran a repair on it just to check it out and it's working now. Thank you! Looks like I'm good till after work now.

Alright, I managed to get it flashed remotely. I'll go home during lunch to try it out. One thing I can't find an answer to is updates.. Is there a way to update xbreboot later without connecting it to my LPT port? Or am I cool to pull all of that out and just leave the JTAG hack in place?

Yeah, you can update using Xellous etc without LPT cables - just be aware if anything borks though you'll have to reinstall.

Yes you can use any size HDD, most users stick a 500gb/1tb usb drive to the back port but it up till yourself

Just plug it in and format with XBR

I personly have a 2.5"  250gb internal Sata Drive

in order to update xbr in the future you can use flash360 aswell that is an xex that can be launched from xex menu and in my opinion it is much easier to use then xellous

Arg. My DVD drive is dead. It wouldn't spin before so I cleaned it up ( http://www.360mods.n...w...ums&t=17270 ) and now it spins but it keeps clicking and never reads. I'll buy another, but in the meantime is there anything I can do without a dvd drive?

I removed my DVD Drive and put an fan in it's place  

If you have the HDD Transfer cable you can connect your HDD to your PC and use Xplorer360 to read and transfer stuff over.

If you dont have a cable you can open the HDD Case and remove the 2.5" Sata HDD and directly connect it to your PC and also use Xplorer360 to transfer files.

Once you can transfer files,  transfer over XEXmenu and then you can FTP over to the xbox and install like that

Wow, perfect. I managed to get XeXMenu installed and I'm ftping Rock Band 2 now. 360 is finally where Xbox was 6 years ago. Now, if only we could get XBMC...

My wife isn't going to like not having a disc drive. I guess I'll tell her to fix it if she really wants one.
