If somebody has the answer to this question, I would greatly appreciate it.
Until 30 minutes ago I had an Xbox 360 with dash 8498 and ix1.61 installed and I accidentally (more like stupidly) updated my dashboard from 8498 to 8955 today from the genuine Final Fantasy XIII Disc. The console had never been connected to LIVE since I bought it and has still never been connected to LIVE. It has also never had a backup in the tray since I updated to 8955. I was planning on flashing original firmware back to the drive next week and then updating to 8955 so I could go legit and use the box on LIVE from that point on completely unmodified but now I'm worried that the console may be flagged.
So basically what I'm asking is if anyone knows if the modified firmware check occurs when 8955 is installed or if it occurs when you connect to LIVE.
edit: Just adding that I've used Xval on the system after installing 8955 and it says that secdata is clean and that the Xbox was never powered on without a DVD Drive attached.
