Title: Xbr 8955 3a Testing Live Connection Wants Update.

just curious if I could do test a connection to XBL from the Network Settings section from the XBR 8955 3a release flashed onto a Cygnos V2.  

It's asking for an update even before I try to start a test.. I declined it.. and it wouldn't let me test the connection unless I accepted the update..

Would accepting a update from Live before doing a test crapout a JTAGed console?

I guess I'm going to have to remove RT63 to prevent any accidental updates from blowing efuses..
