Title: Olimex Lpc-h2148 Possible Problems...
Post by: MicroShack on January 22, 2010, 02:25:00 PM
Ive got hold of one of these and im trying to program it with the nandpro hex.

Ive wired it up etc but cant get flashmagic to see it...

Ive tried alternating the RX & TX but just keep getting the autobaud error....

What I want to know is... When you plug the usb into the board is windows meant to pick it up and ask to install drivers?

As this one I have doesnt even register with windows but does power up and shows all the correct lights etc..
Theres no usb recognised sound etc. is this normal?

This is the same wired up and unwired.

Once I know what its meant to do I can look at the problem further..

Cheers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I dont know if you still need help but here it goes :

On this page i explain how to flash the device

http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?sho...0493&st=150

Its impossible to detect the lpc2148 when there's no driver installed and its not in ISP mode. Gl!

Thanks Bud I did actually follow your  guides to start with but no joy...

Ive now got a compatible Jtag wiggler programmer on its way to try and program the olimex with the hex.

Will update if it works and a little tut for using it with Hjtag maybe..
