Is there anyway to get some download content from another hard drive unit or from the web?

Downloaded content is licensed for unrestricted use (use by any gamer profile) only to the original console it was downloaded on. To use the downloaded content on any other console, you have to be signed in to Xbox Live with the gamer profile you used to purchase the content. Licenses for purchases can be transferred from 360 to 360, but only every year, and you must transfer ALL of your licenses.

So in short, the answer is no.
