I had a few very specific questions about the 3rd wave patch and using it with old firmware.
firstly, can a live account be banned based purely on a save game from say prototype burnt with the 3rd wave patch. that is, if i go online with another game, say COD WaW, but i have a save game from a prototype burnt with this 3rd wave patch will xbox live be able to catch it? to the best of your knowledge about the nature of account bans of course. i realize there is no guarantee when using burnt games, but to the degree that the facts allow. however i have gone online a bunch of times with all my old burnt games and have yet to be caught, so this doesnt seem to be an issue, however this 3rd wave issue might change that.
secondly, if i keep at the 1.5 firmware will i more than likely always be able to play the newest games of the 360. that is to say, will there be another patch for newer games down the line that will make 1.5 and any patch that can be included with the game obsolete. i ask this because i know that if i have to upgrade to a later version, all my 3rd wave patched games will be unplayable.
i say this because i dont really need to go online with any of my games, but i would like to have the option in the future to maybe purchase some of the arcade games and to be able to download trailers and demos. it isnt vital, but rather a luxury.
what IS important to me however is the ability to play any game that is released on the 360 on my 1.5 firmware drive. in the effort to save some time and money i dont want to have to spend another 300 to play newer games.
thanks for your time,

Wrong forum, no way of being sure if your safe.
If you keep converting the you will most likely be able to play them.
you can always just update if you get sick of converting, and/or you cant play them anymore.
