Title: Rsa Encryption
Post by: CompKronos on September 05, 2008, 02:53:00 AM
Well as i understand it it seems to be that if the rsa-encryption was resignable then a lot more could be done to retail Xbox's even homebrew.
So i know that the people at free60 project found out the public key is in the xbox registry but does anyone know what n is or p/q.

I don't know the values, but here's a long thread from xbh in which I explained why it's totally infeasible for anyone to attack the RSA key of the 360: http://www.xboxhacker.net/index.php?topic=9884.0

Except by the Hollywood method, of course: abseil into Microsoft's building and dodge all the lasers while you steal the private key from their big glowing white room. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
