Title: Benq Game Problem
Post by: Mikoto on May 01, 2008, 04:11:00 PM
I'm hoping I'm posting this in the right place, and if this has been asked before; I apologize.  I have two modded 360's, the older one has a samsung drive; I believe it's still running an old Xtreme firmware, from over a year ago. The newer machine I purchased for the HDMI port, so it has a BenQ drive, modded with the iXtreme 1.41 firmware.

The problem I've been having is that some games, that work fine on the samsung will come up as unplayable disc on the BenQ. First, would this be due to the difference in hardware, or is it the firmware I'm using. Second, what can I do to fix this? I still have all the old iso/dvd files, so if I need to modify them or burn them differently I can, or if I need to flash the BenQ differently I'm always open to the idea.

Though this has happened with several different discs, the one I can think of off the top of my head was a copy of crackdown ntsc, ripped by RANT. It's apparently a region free rip, but I do not know anything beyond that.

Thanks in advance for any information you may have.

Xbox-Scene does not offer assistance to those who download pirate-group game releases.
