Title: Best Way To Play Backup Games

i havent kept up with xbox 360 modding for a while now and just returning today it appears theres some new options available, linux and whatnot. i have a couple questions... what is the best way to play backup games, and can you play them on xbox live? how hard is linux to do? and is there any other new developments ? thanks
